EMPLOYEES STATE INSURANCE
Employees’ State Insurance Scheme of India is a Social Security Scheme to empower employees socially as well as economically.
The scheme provides full medical care to the employee registered under the ESI Act, 1948 during the period of his/her incapacity & restoration of his health. It provides financial assistance to compensate the loss of his/ her wages during the period of his abstention from work due to sickness, maternity and employment injury. The scheme provides medical care to his/her family members also.
The scheme is applicable to non-seasonal factories or shops and commercial establishment having 10 or more employees.
Employees whose gross salary is ₹21000 or less than ₹21000, are eligible to be registered in this scheme.
For availing benefits through this scheme, registered employee needs a E-Pehchaan Card which can be received from the employer.
कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा योजना कर्मचारियों को सामाजिक और आर्थिक रूप से सशक्त करने के लिए लागू की गयी है |
यह योजना उन कर्मचारियों को, जो कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा अधिनियम 1948 के तहत पंजीकृत है, उनके अस्वस्थ होने तथा वापस ठीक होने तक पूर्ण चिकित्सा की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराती है | यह योजना अस्वस्थ होने पर हुए वेतन हानि की भी कमी पूर्ती करती है | साथ ही साथ यह योजना पंजीकृत कर्मचारी के परिवारजनों को भी चिकित्सा की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराती है |
जो भी गैर-मौसमी फैक्ट्री या वाणिज्यिक संस्थान 10 या 10 से ज्यादा कर्मचारियों को रोजगार प्रदान करते है वह कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा योजना के दायरे में आते है |
वह कर्मचारी जिनका सम्पूर्ण वेतन 21000 या 21000 से कम है , वह इस योजना में पंजीकृत हो सकते है |
इस योजना का फायदा उठाने के लिए पंजीकृत कर्मचारी को इ-पहचान कार्ड के जरूरत होती है , जिसे वह अपने नियोक्ता (एम्प्लायर) से प्राप्त कर सकते है
